Ukrainian energy and coal industry minister Eduard Stavytsky met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia to Ukraine Pavol Hamzik on February 8, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry press office reports.
The parties discussed the transportation of natural gas on the Ukrainian-Slovak border in a reverse regime. In addition, they agreed to study the experience of the concerned ministries of both countries, as well as opportunities for the development of alternative energy sources.
Following the meeting, the parties decided to open a joint venture to supply equipment for the nuclear industry.
