Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych congratulated China President Hu Jintao and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Xi Jinping on the occasion of the Spring Festival, the president’s press service informs.
The President expressed confidence that this year China will continue successful implementation of certain strategic objectives aimed at further dynamic development of the state, strengthening of its international authority.
"I highly appreciate the continued attention that you personally pay to substantiate strategic partnership between our two countries.
I thank you for your aiming for practical cooperation in realization of joint projects, particularly in the areas of agriculture, energy and infrastructure sectors,” the congratulatory message reads.
Yanukovych is confident that the current nature of Ukrainian-Chinese relations will keep enhancing political trust, expanding areas of cooperation, enriching the bilateral dialogue with new ideas and developments for the benefit of the peoples of Ukraine and China.
