The Kyiv City Council has passed the capital budget for 2013.

72 deputies of the city council voted for the adoption, the KCSA press office informs.

The city's budget income will worth more than 18.5 billion UAH, including transfers from the state budget - 2.9 billion UAH. The total fund will make up 15.9 billion UAH and a special fund - 2.1 billion UAH.

The amended draft budget, passed by the deputies, provides for double increase in revenues, in particular, due to payment of 236 million UAH by "Kyivenergo" power supplying company, 182.5 million UAH - from the sale of land by the introduction of auctions, 100 million UAH - from the privatization of public property with the adjustment of the privatization program and revaluation of sale.

According to the budget, expenditure on social and cultural issues of Kyiv makes up 9.25 billion UAH. Their volume has increased by 2.27 billion UAH.

875.9 million UAH will be allocated for housing industry, 744.0 million UAH - for transport and roads. Funds in the amount of 236.0 million UAH will be sent to cover the difference in accruals for thermal energy to the public.
