If Parliament fails to pass a resolution on the confirmation of the European integration course before the EU - Ukraine Summit, there will be no negative consequences, justice minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych said in exclusive commentary to ForUm correspondent.

"This document is of declarative character. We have laws, which clearly define the course of European integration as a priority foreign policy. We have a number of legal documents, which develop this direction and fix it," Lavrynovych said.

However, the justice minister emphasized: "Of course, there are some problems: there is a package of bills, which should have been considered under the plan of European integration. In particular, it is a visa free regime.

"These five bills are pending. They are included in the Parliament’s agenda of the next week. So, the people who do not let Parliament work, should answer the question of whether they want to show their strength and power, or their opposition to European integration course of Ukraine? What is their priority?" he said.
