Cooperation of the Land Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will attract additional loan resources for farmers, minister of agricultural policy and food Mykola Prysiazhniuk told a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.
"This year the Land Bank will begin its work, which will provide an opportunity to attract additional funds in synchronization of work with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and to raise additional loan resources for farmers," the minister noted.
He also stressed that this year the agricultural representatives will strengthen their cooperation with the banking sector, in particular, in the issue of short-term loans.
According to him, holding of forward purchases by the Agrarian Fund will help to allocate other 291.6 million UAH for producers.
