In March of 2013, the Cabinet will introduce a new program of mortgage lending, director of the debt and international financial policy department of the Finance Ministry of Ukraine Halyna Pakhachuk said during an open discussion "Budget and banks: can the state help to resume lending?" ForUm correspondent reports.
According to Pakhachuk, the new program was developed due to the fact that one billion USD incorporated in the state budget for the payment of mortgages were not used in 2012. "That is why we will present the new model, new program and new decree of the Cabinet in March," the expert stressed.
She also said that 300 million UAH were budgeted to compensate the mortgage for 2013.
