Prime Minister Mykola Azarov considers information about increase in food prices in Ukraine to be rumors.

"The prices are within the range, which I check every day. I make sure that specialists give me truthful information. I can ask customers: maybe such prices were hung before my arrival. I think it is not so. I asked buyers, by the way. Most likely, the pricing have been stable. It is stable despite all the rumors about the alleged price increase," Azarov said, visiting a supermarket in the Kyiv city center.

"If price cuts depended on my arrival, I would go to shops every day for half an hour," the PM said.
