MPs of the sixth convocation, who have not found a job yet, will not be paid salary, head of the Parliament’s regulatory committee Volodymyr Makeyenko told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to him, there are 3-4 applications from the previous deputies to receive salary, but the regulatory committee did not decide on them.

"The regulatory committee will not take positive decision on those applications. I guarantee this... I've already explained the former MPs: you got a good salary, you had certain preferences. That’s enough," Makeyenko said.

The committee head said that the funds budgeted for salaries for MPs will be reallocated. "I think we will make changes in the first quarter and reallocate money. We are not self-killers and not a penny will be paid to former MPs," he said.

Earlier, MP of the sixth convocation Taras Chornovil said that dismissal of the deputy after the cadence is complex and multi-step procedure. "According to the law on the status of the MP, if the MP does not find a new job after the cadence, he shall be paid parliamentary salary".
