Cooperation between Ukraine and the Customs Union will remain a priority, foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

"We will negotiate with the representatives of various bodies of the Customs Union with the intention of presenting our cooperation in the 3 +1 format. I can say there is some progress in this regard. In particular, the documents on trade cooperation were signed with the Eurasian Economic Commission. Ukraine is extremely interested in cooperation with the Customs Union in the sectoral issues. This work will be continued this year," he said.

The minister also added that forms of interaction with the Customs Union remains very interesting for Ukraine. "In the process of negotiations, sooner or later we will find the formats to work with the Customs Union. Talks will specify the format of this cooperation, whether it will be the expanded free trade zone, or a special legal status. The dynamics of these negotiations is positive. We are sure to reach practical results, which will meet the interests of Ukraine and the CU," Kozhara summed up.
