Head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on rules, ethics and maintenance of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, MP from the Party of Regions faction Volodymyr Makeyenko supports the development of a new system for electronic voting of MPs, he said during the coordination board’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the current Rada-3 voting system is not suitable for use, because it does not guarantee the protection of information.
The head of procedural committee reminded that the current system was introduced in 2002. As of August 13 of last year, the deterioration of this system was 100%.
Makeyenko noted that the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine should develop a Rada-4 system for the Parliament.
