There are no grounds to increase prices for bread in Kyiv, deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration Anatoliy Holubchenko said at a meeting with representatives of the Agrarian Fund and the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry of Ukraine, the administration's press service reported.
"We do not see any grounds to increase prices for the cheapest types of bread. There is an agreement with the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine, according to which flour for the production of the cheapest types of bread is purchased at a lower price," Holubchenko said, UKRINFORM news agency reported.
According to him, the amount of purchased flour makes it possible to produce the cheapest types of bakery products throughout 2013, without changing prices for them.
