Ukraine does not have to pay seven billion dollars of penalty for gas shortage to Gazprom, first Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk said on Channel 5.
According to him, Ukraine should apply to the Stockholm arbitration court to resolve this issue.
"The main thing is not to get scared of seven billion, because we do not have to pay them. We can not pay dollars for air. At least, there is the Stockholm court, and we should apply to it and resolve this issue," Kravchuk stressed.
