Crime rate among teenagers has decreased by 27.3% in the Kyiv region, head of the main justice department in the Kyiv region Nina Yashchenko said during the final meeting of the All-Ukrainian inter-agency coordination and methodological council on legal education of the population, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, 1582 people were brought to administrative responsibility for nonfulfillment of parental duties in 2012, 79 official warnings were made regarding the unacceptability of domestic violence, and 57 case materials were submitted to the court to decide on the termination of parental rights.
Yashchenko also noted the Social Services for Family and Youth received 255 complaints about the domestic violence, including 30 on child abuse, from 24 districts and 12 city centers in 2012.
