A draft law introducing amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine (concerning the introduction of the death penalty as punishment) was registered in the Verkhovna Rada, UKRINFORM news agency reports.
The authors of the document are first deputy Parliament’s speaker Ihor Kaletnik, Communist Party faction leader Petro Symonenko and Communist Party MP Ihor Alekseyev.
The draft law was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on January 30 under No. 2128. The text of the document has not yet been posted on the official website of the Parliament.
