Foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara met with EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy Catherine Ashton in Brussels, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
During the meeting, they focused on the steps required to ensure the signing of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement during the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius in November.
The minister thanked Ashton for personal constructive position in this issue and confirmed the readiness of the Ukrainian side to make significant progress on the criteria set by the Foreign Affairs Council for the signing of the Agreement in the specified time frame.
