Gas tariffs may grow significantly for those citizens of Ukraine, who consume large amounts of gas, economic development and trade minister of Ukraine Ihor Prasolov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, the innovation will relate to people "who have good paying capacity".
"What is the idea? If I, for example, consume 100 cubic meters of gas, and my neighbor consumes 500 cubic meters, we pay a single tariff. We assume that he has to pay by ten times more. There's something like a progressive income tax," the minister concluded.
