Justice minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych said the issue of the Gazprom’s bill to the Naftogaz of Ukraine for for the gas it did not purchase in 2012 requires deep analysis.
"This issue is not completely onevalued. It needs a thorough analysis, the legal dispute, if the both sides are interested in it," he told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
The minister explained that the case can be considered in court if the Gazprom and the Naftogaz of Ukraine do not solve the problem in another way.
Lavrynovych reminded that the gas agreement with Russia of 2009 is rather complex.
"The fact of the debt comes up from the text of the agreement. However, there are other provisions, which may be used (to prove Ukraine’s right - Ed)," he said.
