President Viktor Yanukovych considers the principles of good-neighborliness and mutual respect to be foundation for the development of relations between Ukraine and Slovakia.
"I am convinced that the rich experience of developing relations between the two countries, based on the principles of good-neighborliness and mutual respect, will continue serving as a reliable basis for the further development of bilateral cooperation in all areas and deepening of cooperation between Ukraine and Slovakia in the traditional atmosphere of friendship and trust," President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych says in congratulatory message to President of the Slovak Republic Ivan Gašparovič on 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.
Yanukovych wished Mr. Gašparovič good health and success in state activities, and wished well-being, peace and prosperity to the Slovak people.
