Consolidation of regional enterprises of housing and public utilities will allow to reduce the cost of their services and to establish a single tariff in a particular region, head of the national commission for public utilities regulations of Ukraine Valery Saratov stated.
According to him, the practice of association, in particular water utilities, was implemented in Kirovohrad region by consolidation of such enterprises of water and sewage utilities as Znamyanka, Oleksandriya and Svetlovodsk into a single company - Dnipro-Kirovohrad regional municipal production enterprise.
Due to this association, the cost of water for the population decreased by 46% in the cities of this region, in particular Znamyanka, the head of the national commission added.
Saratov also noted that the commission supports the association of national enterprises of water and sewage utilities of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea into the Crimean republican enterprise based on the Manufacturing Company of Simferopol water and sewage utilities."
