The government is developing a national program of economy activation 2013-2014, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during the session of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Last year was a difficult one, but it laid the foundation for further development of our economy. In particular, it concerns the continuation of the reforms, which were carried out in the country, creating a favorable climate for the economy," he said.
Prime Minister recalled that since January 1, income tax has been decreased by 2% and now the government is working on a program of development and stimulation of domestic production and import substitution program. "For the first year, the program includes a real source of funding, bank loans, state guarantees and budget direct investments," Azarov said.
According to him, the draft program is being developed now, and it is most likely to be approved in the near future.
