For the past three days the rescue teams of the State Emergencies Service and "Ukravtodor" state company have rescued 1100 vehicles, stuck in snowdrifts, deputy head of the rescue department of the State Emergencies Service Mykola Chechetkin told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.

"As you know, last week the traffic was blocked in Odessa, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhya regions due to poor weather conditions. For the period of January 25-27 we rescued 1100 vehicles from snowdrifts and rendered assistance to 2800 citizens," he noted. 

According to Chechetkin, the traffic has been restored on all roads of Ukraine.

The official also informed that there are 3.5 thousand warming centers and 1248 social patrols are working now in Ukraine. "Social patrols and warming centers keep providing assistance to people," he underlined.

Chechetkin also reported that poor weather conditions caused blackouts in 643 settlements in 14 regions of Ukraine. "As of today the energy supply has been restored in 13 regions of Ukraine," he summed up.
