Director of Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida confirmed the forecast that winter grain crop would be by 20-30% higher this year than the previous year, he told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
The director of Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center named snow in the central, eastern and southern regions except for Crimea as one of the positive factors for crop.
"The general condition of winter crop is satisfactory. We expect the yields of winter crops to be by 20-30% higher in the current year than in the previous one," Kulbida noted.
