Average salary of regular employee in Ukraine in December 2012 increased by 279 UAH (9%) and in January 1, 2013 amounted to 3377 UAH, the official report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine reads.
According to the report, on the regional level the highest salary in December was recorded in Kyiv - 5368 UAH, Donetsk region - 3811 UAH, Sevastopol - 3655 UAH, Kyiv region - 3528 UAH, Dnipropetrovsk region - 3385 UAH. The lowest salary was recorded in Ternopil region - 2466 UAH.
The report also states that the average salary in the industry in December 2012 amounted to 3818 UAH, which is 7% more than in November 2012.
The highest salary in December in industry was registered, as in November, in air transport - an average of 9864 UAH. The lowest salary was registered in fishing industry - 1769 UAH.
