Ukraine has introduced temporary restrictions on imports of the dairy products, produced by three Belarusian companies – the Babushkina Krynka (Grandma's Jug) dairy company, the Dairy Products company and the Orshansky Dairy Plant.

As the State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine press service informs, the restrictions have been imposed since January 21, 2013.

"The results of the laboratory tests, carried out by the State Scientific Research Institute of laboratory diagnostics and veterinary-sanitary examination, established the non-correspondence of the dairy products of these enterprises with Ukrainian safety standards on the microbiological and physico-chemical parameters," the statement reads.

The temporary ban may be cancelled "after the Belarusian party takes appropriate measures and inspection of the mentioned companies."
