
The opposition has already collected 150 signatures of MPs to hold extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada on January 29 in connection with the events occurring with the ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, head of the secretariat of the Fatherland faction Olga Bodnar, the faction’s press service informs.
At the same time, Bodnar said that collection of signatures will continue until the end of the day, as there are still many people willing to sign, including individual MPs.
The opposition offers to consider at the extraordinary session the resignation of Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka and to create a temporary investigative commission to investigate violations of the law against Yulia Tymoshenko and Yuri Lutsenko. In addition, it is proposed to consider the issue of responsibility of heads of security agencies.
