The state will prevent the bankruptcy of AeroSvit Airline, infrastructure minister Volodymyr Kozak told a briefing in the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.
"A working committee on Aerosvit issue has been formed, it is headed by deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul and includes representatives of law enforcement agencies, prosecutors and tax authorities. It determines the legitimacy of the company. I believe that everything will be done in the legal direction," he said.
In addition, Kozak said that from January 25 the new rules of air transportation of passengers and baggage will enter into force. They will tighten the air carriers' liability for failure to fulfill its obligations to the passengers.
