Russia has asked Ukraine to abolish taxation of goods, imported to provide for the vital needs of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Crimea, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov told a press conference.
"We suggested further investing of all the saved means in the social infrastructure of Sevastopol," he said.
According to him, the taxation of goods is charged by Ukraine unilaterally and this fact, in the opinion of the Russian Federation, contradicts the basic agreements on the Black Sea Fleet.
Russia has requested for the abolition of taxation of goods for the Black Sea Fleet since the beginning of 2012
