17% of Ukrainians have immunity against the swine flu, head of the Center of influenza and ARVI of the Health Ministry Lubov Nekrasova told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
In turn, chairman of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine, chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Anatoliy Ponomarenko said that the role of the swine flu will be negligible this epidemiological season.
According to him, Ukraine expects a circulation of new for our country strain of influenza A Victoria, as well as a new strain of B Wisconsin. "315 thousand Ukrainians (or 0.7% of the population) have been already vaccinated against influenza," he stressed.
