The results of the implementation of each reform must be carefully monitored and analyzed by businessmen and the public, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said at the meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We need to bring new life to the work of the Committee on Economic Reforms and introduce new approaches to implement the tasks of the National Action Plan for 2013. Implementation of reforms, particularly in the regions, should be subject to ongoing monitoring. Problematic issues are to be considered at the Cabinet meetings, and the most complex cases - during the Committee meetings. The results of the implementation of each reform must be considered and analyzed in detail for compliance with their original objectives," he said.
In addition, he said that Ukraine should move towards quality financing of reforms.
"This provides for a concentration of resources on priority areas, establishment of strict control over the efficient use of budget funds. This year, the State Regional Development Fund should become a real tool to finance capital investments," he said.
