Increase in level of legal wages and level of social assistance are interrelated processes, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said at the meeting of the Committee on Economic Reforms, charging the relevant Ministry with the tasks, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Ordering wage system solves a lot of issues. It has a positive impact on social protection and pensions. Increase in social welfare is impossible without raising the level of legalization of wages since they are two integral parts, and we must address these issues," he said.
According to Yanukovych, one of the priority tasks of the year should be legalization of wages.
"This is the problem to be address in the near future," he said.
