Foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara noted the need for the continuation of the OSCE-supported project for disposal of the liquid rocket fuel "melange", which stocks remained on the territory of Ukraine since the Soviet era, the Foreign Ministry informs.
The statement was voiced during the meeting of Ukrainian foreign minister, OSCE chairman-in-office Leonid Kozhara with OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier on Wednesday, January 17 in Vienna.
The parties discussed the practical issues related to the implementation of Ukraine's priorities in the OSCE, and exchanged views on the issues on the agenda of the Organization.
“Kozhara and Zannier agreed to work closely to ensure the success of Ukraine's chairmanship of the OSCE, in particular, the fulfillment by the Ukrainian side of certain priorities, such as settlement of long-standing conflicts, strengthening confidence and security, implementation of the Helsinki + 40 process, etc.” the press service informs.
