First vice Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov and finance minister Yuri Kolobov departed with an unofficial four-day visit to the United States to meet with potential investors and to find alternative sources of funding, Arbuzov’s press office informs.
This is the first visit of the new members of the Ukrainian government to the United States. "The situation in financial markets remains complicated, so it is very important to work with external markets, to present Ukraine and its possibilities. Thus, a series of seminars on investment attractiveness of Ukraine will be held within the framework of the visit," the press office says.
However, the press office did not specify a list of investment companies and funds, which the Ukrainian officials are to meet with.
