In 2012, the citizens of Ukraine were returned about 9 million UAH for not provided or low quality housing and public services, head of the State Inspectorate for Consumer Protection Serhiy Orekhov told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports. 

He said that the following segments of market remain the most problematic: the provision of services - 47% of all complaints, the quality of food products - 9%, non-food products - 37%, trading at a distance, including via the Internet, - 4%.

In general, Orekhov noted that only 29 thousand people formally requested to the State Inspectorate for Consumer Protection in 2012.

According to him, 82% of complaints of citizens were resolved in their favor, and the consumers were returned about 6 million UAH.
