The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry recommends its citizens to refrain from visiting the Republic of Mali due to the worsening security situation in the country.
"Due to the rapidly deteriorating security situation in the Republic of Mali, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry urges citizens of Ukraine to refrain from trips to this country in order to avoid danger to life and health," the FM press service informs.
Ukrainian citizens should immediately contact the Embassy of Ukraine in Algeria in case of emergency.
Meanwhile, Algeria closed the border with Mali because of escalation of the military conflict in the neighboring country.
