Verkhovna Rada failed to fire Serhiy Arbuzov from the post of governor of the National Bank of Ukraine. He was appointed as first vice Prime Minister which by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych at the end of December 2012.
As ForUm correspondent reports, 217 MPs voted in favor of the decision.
The decision was supported by 179 MPs from the Party of Regions, 30 MPs from the Communist Party and 8 independent deputies. Other factions did not participate in the vote.
221 MP of 225 required voted in favor of the proposal to go back to the issue.
