
Procedural committee of the Verkhovna Rada will not impose sanctions against MPs, who took part in brawls during the first sessions of the new Parliament’s convocation, head of procedural committee, MP from the Party of regions Volodymyr Makeyenko told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.
In particular, Makeyenko joked that such incidents were not fights. "It was a political acquaintance," he commented ironically.
At the same time, the MP added that if the committee receives applications, they will be considered, but there are no such statements at the moment.
As for the work of procedural committee, his head assured that the government and the opposition manage to work together. According to Makeyenko, now the committee is accumulating changes in rules, schedule, work plan for the future and holding of round tables, etc.
