Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych dismissed Ihor Kalinin as head of the Security Service of Ukraine and appointed him as his advisor, ForUm learned from the press service of the head of state.

In turn, Yanukovych appointed Oleksandr Yakymenko to head the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

Earlier, Yakymenko held the post of first deputy head of the SBU – head of the SBU main department for fight against corruption and organized crime.

The corresponding orders were signed by the president and posted on his official website on Wednesday.
