
Agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Mykola Prysiazhniuk is pleased with dynamics of grain exports in 2012, he told a briefing in the Cabinet, ForUm correspondent reports.
"In general, we collected 46.2 million tons of grain and exported 14.8 million tons. We are pleased with export dynamics. The volume of agricultural exports numbered 17 billion USD, that is by almost 40% more," he said.
Prysiazhniuk also stressed that the Ukrainian farmers produce twice as many products than Ukrainians consume in the domestic market.
