During the eleventh session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the sixth convocation, more than 230 citizens visited the reception of Parliament, department for complaints of citizens of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reports.

The receptions were held according to the schedule of personal enrollment of citizens by the heads of parliamentary committees and factions, which is approved by order of the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine each session.

During the session, 234 people visited 32 private receptions, and 256 complaints, including 213 written and 43 oral, were received.

During September-December of 2012, primarily socially unprotected groups of citizens, including 159 pensioners, 22 unemployed, 51 disabled people of I-III groups, 22 war veterans, 20 disabled veterans, 18 war children and six large families, addressed the chairmen of parliamentary committees and factions to protect and help them.

All written applications received during personal receptions were considered and discussed in the secretariats of parliamentary committees and factions. According to the results of personal meetings, the appropriate instructions were given and sent to the relevant bodies of state executive power and local governments.
