
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has distributed the tasks for 2013 among the members of the government during the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to him, first vice PM Serhiy Arbuzov is instructed to reduce international trade deficit, vice Prime Minister Kostyantyn Hryshchenko - to promote tourism. "We need to actively manage the program of import substitution, reducing the foreign trade deficit. This is the personal responsibility of the first vice Prime Minister and of economic development and trade minister Igor Prasolov," the official said.
In addition, vice Prime Minister Yuri Boiko, energy and coal industry minister Eduard Stavitsky were instructed to restore the petroleum refining and chemical industries and electrometallurgy. Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul and regional development minister Hennady Temnyk will be responsible for the program on industrialized methods of housing construction and social infrastructure development. Infrastructure minister Volodymyr Kozak was instructed to renew Ukraine’s transport park with the vehicles of domestic production.
Agrarian policy minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk was instructed to continue positive developments in animal husbandry and to stir up industrialization of agricultural production.
