Acting chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Ihor Sorkin has congratulated Ukrainians on the Happy New Year and Merry Christmas.
According to Sorkin, New Year is also an opportunity to remind the last year and to determine the prospects for development. "2012 was a complex but generally successful year for the domestic banking system. The National Bank of Ukraine has fulfilled its main tasks. I am convinced we will ensure the stable development of the banking system in 2013 for the prosperity of the state, economic strengthening and improvement of the welfare of citizens," he noted.
