Yesterday, on December 30, a series of explosions occurred in a building on Kharlampievska street in Mariupol. A 32-year-old man was killed, and 14 people were left homeless.

The garrison of Mariupol rescuers came to the place of incident. A warehouse of fireworks and two tanks of helium were found in the apartment number №10 of 11-residential apartment building. Fortunately, the rescuers managed to cool the tanks. Otherwise, the force of the explosion would have been even more devastating, deputy head of the state fire and rescue team of the main territorial department of Ukraine in Donetsk region Volodymyr Husynsky told a press conference.

As a result of unplanned fireworks, three apartments were completely destroyed, and seven were damaged partially.

According to the representatives of the city administration, all victims will receive the financial aid. As for the restoration of the destroyed building, the issue has not been yet resolved.
