Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov has brought the pupils of the Velikopolovetsky boarding school of Skvyra district, Kyiv region to see the main Ukraine's X-mas tree in the Ukraine Palace concert hall in Kyiv, ForUm correspondent reports.
"I want to congratulate you on the New Year and to wish, above all, to have good health and to study well. Those who are not in school yet, I wish to get prepared well for it. I wish the year 2013 will be a happy year for you," Premier congratulated the children.
After congratulations, two kids recited Christmas poems, and director of the boarding school presented Azarov with an icon of Saint Nicholas made by children as well as a embroidered picture of a winter landscape.
Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden gave gifts to children and lit the Christmas tree.
