The Russian Federal Consumer Rights Protection and Human Health Control Service (Rospotrebnadzor) does not complain of the quality of Ukrainian cheese, delivered to the market of the Russian Federation, head of the Service Gennady Onishchenko told a press conference in Moscow.
"We checked the plants, talked to the business, agreed on a range of system solutions and now this product is available in our market, but as the cheese, not the cheese product, which was given out for cheese. If there are violations, we will respond again. Currently we control the production batch, and, thank God, there are no complaints," Onishchenko said.
He also reminded that the Rosportrebnadzor complained of the quality of Ukrainian cheeses as it was produced using the palm oil, not indicated by the manufacturer.
According to him, it is not prohibited, but such a product should be cheaper.
