Former interior minister Yuri Lutsenko has expressed the desire to undergo medical procedures, from which he refused earlier.
As the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine press office informs, the convicted Lutsenko addressed the leadership of the Mena penal colony with the request to conduct the medical manipulation, previously recommended by the doctors," the press service informs.
The State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine reminded that surgeon Ivan Todurov, who advised the wife of convicted, said that Lutsenko’s problem was diagnosed more than five years ago. The surgeon also confirmed the medical opinion of the Chernihiv Regional Hospital of that Lutsenko life is not under threat.
