Justice minister Oleksandr Lavrynovych believes that the powers of the MPs, appointed as ministers, shall be terminated automatically after writing the relevant application.
"I think the powers should be terminated after the relevant application is written, not waiting for someone to vote for," the official told reporters after the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
When asked by reporters whether Ihor Prasolov, whose powers were not terminated by the Parliament, is the minister, Lavrynovych said: "He is the minister and is legally working in the government. Some deputies for some reason decided that they had the right to choose - to dismiss or not to dismiss".
