The Ukrainian government has to overcome the negative foreign balance in the following year, Azarov said opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We must make a fundamental foreign balance breakthrough in 2013. We need to decompose negative balance into the components and decide on what positions we can improve this balance," Azarov said.
In his opinion, the government should be able to firmly defend the Ukrainian market and vigorously promote domestic products to foreign markets.
"This is the case, when all the ideological contradictions and biases need to be put aside. We must act in the most pragmatic, tough manner for the sake of the national interest, aiming at winning the competition," he said.
