Course for deep reform of the country requires broad public support and decisive actions of the government, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said during the Council of Regions meeting, ForUm learned from the President’s press service.
"Only the accelerated change, decisive actions and broad social support, broad national civil platform of reforms will ensure success," he said.
"We must do everything to make the reform be not simply the policy of the state, but the concern and conviction of each active citizen," Yanukovych said.
President stressed that the year 2013 provides a unique opportunity to increase the results of modernization policy through the goodwill, commitment and new approaches in domestic politics.
"I believe in our success. I will be demanding to myself and to all of you. I will rely on our own strength, on confidence and creative energy of every Ukrainian. I am convinced that we ensure the stability and prosperity of Ukraine with out joint efforts," the President concluded.
