Ukraine revives the ship and aircraft industries, President of the National Academy of Sciences Borys Paton said during the ceremony of the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The good news is that the ship-building, which was a very powerful branch of the economy, is reviving again, as well as aircraft industry. And if we compare the civil aviation of Ukraine and Russia, we can say that our civil aviation is at least not worse than Russian," he said.
According to Paton, this proves that Ukraine continues to develop high technology and basic research.
