Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak declared that the number of parliamentary committees will be increased from 27 to 30, he said in an interview with Kommersant-Ukraine newspaper.

"There will be 29 committees and one special committee on privatization. The busiest committees were divided, including tax and customs policy committee and industrial policy and enterprise," the speaker said.

Rybak also believes that the opposition will not get the budget and the customs committees.

"We discussed the issue on the committees of foreign affairs and European Integration. I think we have to give the committee on European Integration to the opposition and the committee on foreign affairs to leave for the majority," the speaker stressed.
